Hmm. Apparently there are some problems with the script when using Safari.

I know it works with IE. I'm not able to test it with other browsers, so if you're using FireFox or Chrome please test it out, and let me know.

Will look into the Safari-thing.

Ok, thanks.

Guess it's the same problem for all browsers except IE. Most likely because IE never validates anything, just runs the code.

So will have to see if I can find out what I did wrong.

Will let you know, when theres a reason to test it again.

Ok That shouldn't even be possible?

It should show in both browsers, since it's just regular web-requests send from behind the scene.

Also when shouting, it should show in your "shouting"- browser immediately whereas it could be delays up to 5 seconds in the others.

Really don't know what that's about.

If you mean "show" as in showing your shouts FF still doesn't work. If you mean the shoutbox is just there for show, then yes, it does look pretty. lol

Hehe ... Was more thinking of the "Shout in browser-show in other"-thingy.

But I think I got it working from other browsers now ... So knock yourselves out

Well now that we finally have the shoutbox...my PM box is inaccessible.

Error message:

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while executing SQL query on database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_SQLServer_get_ShoutBox
File Name:- default.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft VBScript runtime error
Object required

I get that on FF and IE and it doesn't matter which message I click on.

Arghhh, bloody #¤@%¤&

Well, I managed to reproduce the error - apparently happens when you try to read a pm. List of messages show just fine.

For some reason they don't include the same functionality on the pm area that they do on the rest (i assume?) of the forum.

Hopefully I'll be able to fix it tonight, before going on vacation.

Hmm, also seems to be an issue on the Member Controlpanel -> Subscriptions page.
