Funny they had mine the better part of a week for the heat shield recall.

I also took the car in today and had the coil packs replaced and the heatshield installed. Seems to run slightly smoother, but not a huge improvement over what it was. Took about an hour for them to do it.

They changed all 8 coilpacks (no plugs they're due in another 10K miles).

I did notice that some of the lumpiness I had during cold idle seems to have gone away!

Eight new ones for me... nice to get, I s'pose... would kinda like to get at least 1 of the 2 hours it took them back, though.

Took her in yesterday - dealer replaced all 8. Kind of nice to get 8 new coil packs for free :)

They did replace my sparkplugs, but I haven't heard of anyone else getting them comped.

they did not mention/ suggest spark plugs. not that i would have paid them to do plugs anyway.

For the people who have been to the dealer for the recall, have they automatically/volunteered to replace the sparkplugs too?

we took ours in for coils today tested and replaced all 8


did not solve thermostat problem or cam crank position corrilation problem. came home to tstat sitting on porch will start on that in morning.
