just wondering since i cant find the crankshaft position sensor to replace it if anyone has any idea how much paper the car will hold down

What exactly do you mean though? Can you not find the part on the engine? or can't find the part to replace? Sarcasm aside we'll help out if we can.

cant find it on the engine. i feel like a retard, but for the life of me i can not find it. I know it is on the block intake side near the flywheel. I can find cam adjuster plugs cam pos. sensors, but that is all i see.

I'm not finding anything like this in the ETKA files, but I do find the cam positioning sensor(06A 905 161 A).Are you sure we have a crankshaft positioning sensor on the W8?

well found it replaced it now it starts runs like crap. p0368. another cam pos sensor going insane.
