Did you happen to check the screws holding the wheels together? This caused some very odd noises and wobbles in my car before I figured it out.

By the way, when I replaced my windshield, the bozo doing it managed to get black goop on the A-pillar covers. In the end, I had to replace them as well. You might consider removing them beforehand so that the same doesn't happen to you. On the plus side, I used it as an opportunity to install the microphone for my hands-free setup tied into my fancy stereo head unit.

Hey guys,

Sorry I have been AWOL lately, busy at work. My car has completely stopped shaking now that I got all the previously mentioned work done.

Marc, that doesn't seem like a bad idea. But I need to remove the whole interior again and repaint it because I never thought of breaking paint up once it dried on the cloth so now my car's interior is black except where I touch often where it is black with a tan backing.

Now I can honestly say that winter is not Jeep season, its W8 season. Living in the Northeast I have gotten to put it through the ringer lately.

Glad to hear it has gotten better, maybe you were getting snow on the inner wheels?

Nah, it was just that I had a wheel that was bent way out of round. Plus my outer tie rod joints were shot and needed to be replaced. It cost a pretty penny but boy oh boy was it worth it.

So this winter has been brutal and the W8 has more than answered the call. However, modifications that I have added to it have not coped as well. My "Gordo" lip is in taters, my rear mud flaps are gone and the fronts are just about to snap off, and just yesterday the passangers front IN CHANNEL window visor disapeared. No pieces of it in the channel, it is just gone.

Those visors always eventually fly off. My Jetta had a good expensive one on the sunroof when I bought it and just a few months later it flew off at 60 mph.

On my way to work this morning something happened to my car. I hit the "down shift button" merging onto the highway and the power cut out then slammed back in. Now, the EPC and ESP lights are on, the power is reduced, and it seems like it is running rough. Any ideas as to what this could be?

I would start with the MAF because it could be the cause of the misfire(s).

Okay. So after clearing the DTC's I am still getting P0102 and P1857. I pulled out the MAF and cleaned it but it fix any of the problems. Could a faulty MAF cause the ECU to give off an error message?
